1. Program Host: National Pingtung University of Science and Technology (NPUST)

2. Program Sponsor: Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Republic of China (Taiwan).

3. Application deadline: June 21, 2026.

4. Study period at NPUST: September 07, 2026 to January 08, 2027.

5. Eligibility: Sophomore and above students (Master’s degree is acceptable) from the universities in New Southbound Policy countries interested in studying a full semester of agricultural courses + Chinese at NPUST.

6. Each student must study:
(1) At least 12 credits in the agricultural field.
(2) Chinese (Monday & Friday 8:10-12:00, Wednesday 9:10-12:00 for 18 weeks + Monday and Thursday 19:00-20:50 for 9 weeks).

7. NPUST will offer to each student:
(1) Round-trip economy class air tickets, maximum NTD 20,000. (*Not including extra luggage, travel & luggage Inconvenience Insurance.)
(2) Tuition fees (including learning Chinese).
(3) Monthly scholarship of NTD 8,000 (NTD 4,000 for September and January  respectively).
(4) Student dormitory accommodation.
(5) Medical insurance coverage.
(6) Monthly off-campus visits arranged by the Office of International Affairs, NPUST.
